Tales of Four Nations: Air

Description

From the times of Avatar Yangchen, no other race was ever as happy and so full of joy as the Air Nomads.
Everyday was different and unique even in the smallest ways....

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okeydokey, I wanna thank all of the "Air Nomads" that participated on project Benders :D and apologies if it doesn't exactly look like you. Warning: Some slight modifications will be made (like some of the Nomads above with grey eyes)

In order:

The performer

As her fellow companions entertained the crowd with their acrobatic abilities, she sweetly sang to the monks the many legends and stories of the Nation of Air.

Alva of the Earth Kingdom

Alva picked up one foot and raised her hands. She smiled when the Earth sourrounded her in a mesmerizing pattern that captivated the spectators. Sure Alva was born from the Earth, but her heart belonged to the Air.

The Air Acrobat

Maieko lacked the abilities of commanding the Air. She was born with no bending, and by desicion, abandoned the ways of the nuns to become a performer. She had no power over the wind and a fall could hurt her as easyly as any other human being.
That never stoped her from defying gravity and laughing at death in the face.

The True Nomad

The true Air Nomad had no home. They would always be on the move, going to wherever the wind took them, letting no one but the skies be their masters and no one but the Air guide them. They were never at the same place twice and very rarely settled down.
Ed was one of them.

The Scholar

Lee-San knew much about the world. Since childhood, she had always had a natural curiosity that often caused her to have her head behind a scroll. She loved to entertain the little monks with interesting facts and pieces from history, and her hunger for knowledge made her guardians wonder if the child's parents had once been Wan Shi Tong's knowledge seekers.

The Artist

Nao Ming's talents had always astounded her peers. Her works told many tales and revealed her remarkable imagination. But her guardians, who were (unfortunately) both strict and of dull humor, demanded more educational art, if she was to one day become a teacher for the new little monks. So when she stumbled across the most curious Airbender she ever met, she couldn't help but ask a hundred and one questions, in hopes that Lee-San knew something both intersting and educational for her to paint.

It was then that she told Nao Ming of the Avatar before Yangchen: Avatar Kai Non Fei ...

The Avatar of Fire.

Before Yangchen, there lived one of the Avatars with the most peculiar background history of his time. He was born in the Earth Kingdom...of Water Tribe parents...and was raised in the Fire Nation Capital by two Air Nomads. Odd, but it gave Kai Non Fei equal respect for all nations, something that most Avatars learn at the age of adulthood.
History scrolls credit Avatar Kai Non Fei of creating the style of Firebending based on earthbending moves (Kajichi- Ryu), settling the civil war in the Southern Water Tribes, and discovering two hundred and five uses of the paddle-ball.

Up next: The Water Tribes!!! :w00t:

*gets beat up by the Earth Kingdom and the Fire Nation*
